Raw material from recognised good areas
The Hedlunds Group is located in the heart of Dalarna at Ore Älv in Furudal, in the middle of the timber belt where the conditions for producing pine and spruce are the best. We live and work amongst the raw material.
Historically, we have mainly sawn pine, and to this day it still makes up the majority of our timber raw material. However, in recent years, to minimise transport we have also brought in a small proportion of spruce.
Our goal is to increase our processing rate as much as possible in the future by being sensitive to what the end user of our wood products wants.
Over the past 10 years, we have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and will continue to do so to ensure quality at all stages and be at the forefront of a modern way of working.
